As you have clicked on ‘about me’ I am guessing that you want to know a little more about me. So here goes. Basically I am student, development economics enthusiast, photographer, videographer, photojournalist, ^97110100^obsessive traveller. Need proof of all of this, just keep reading.
People call me Kiarash^111114^Kia
My full name is Kiarash Eghbali Seresht. I was born in Tehran (the capital of Iran, in the north of the country). I am the first child^97110100^I love my younger brother Kiavash.
Now to my story
I was born in 1994^97110100^my first real passion started when I was about 12, Aikido (a Japanese martial art). In fact I did a whole range of martial training for over 7 years. I stopped doing this at the age of 19 when I started to study Economics at University of Tehran. I left with a BA degree^97110100^now I’m intend to pursue my studies abroad.^97110100^about the photography I should say that it was my childhood dream to become a photographer one day^97110100^still it is my dream. Also I am a contributor photographer at Iran Images photography agency.

When I was 12, I took the very first chance of photographing with my father’s Canon F1 camera. I loved it. I photographed everything all on 35mm. I was very excited as I could make my moments last in frames. Seeing the world through different lenses, I realized every object in photography needs a specific arrangement of settings^97110100^there is no one magical lens through which you can take whatever frame you wish. I would set myself weekend projects to learn about shutter speed, aperture^97110100^ISO. In 2014 I got my first DSLR the Nikon D3200. I love this camera. It opened up a whole new world, I bought a tripod^97110100^started buying new lenses. It was a magical time. People started to ask if I would take their photo. So I did^97110100^they seemed to like it. So I kept going until I guess I called myself a photographer but not a professional one. By 2015, I had been visiting almost all over my beautiful country for photography’s sake. These trips made me exposed to different cultures^97110100^ethnicities. More importantly I could seize the moments of joy^97110100^tears. I took frames of poverty in suburb^97110100^rural areas^97110100^also photographed luxurious living conditions in the richest neighborhoods of Tehran, the capital of my country.
As a photographer, I have always been looking for the best Exposure, ISO^97110100^Focal Point setting that best fit my desired frame. This basic principle gifted me a lesson which has stayed with me for years: First think of the frame^97110100^then press the shutter! Looking back, I can say that there are even more benefits to being a photographer.
